Pink Turkish costume (2011)

2012 Shoot hilversum 05This costume was made in a really short time. The reason was that I had a performance that I wanted this costume to be ready for. I also had some personal things in my life that affected me, as I was unemployed at the time. The story of this costume is extensively blogged on this website, scroll down for all the links.

I created this costume from scratch and spent app. 60 hours. It consists of a bra, belt, skirt, two arm thingies and I made an extra applique for a headband. It is fully lined and I stitched a ‘Kyria’s Closet’ label in the lining.
